FLAT TACK WATERBASED CONTACT ADHESIVE
Flat Tack Adhesive is a versatile water-based contact adhesive. Designed for securely bonding cork tiles to concrete, ply and suitable for installing carpet tiles (excluding PVC or ‘resin’ backed), direct stick carpets, rugs, and artificial grass on various interior substrates.
This product is non irritating to the skin. If swallowed do not induce vomiting. Give glass of water. Inhalation of vapours is unlikely to produce ill health effects.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Substrates: Apply Flat Tack to particle board, ply, fiber cement sheet, and concrete floors after proper preparation.
Preparation: Ensure substrates are clear of debris, clean and dry. Select the Flat Tack recommended primer for cement-based surfaces and timber. Allow the primer to dry.
Application: Flat Tack can be thinned with water. No more than 10%. Use a short-nap roller (avoid foam rollers) for applying Flat Tack Adhesive. Let it dry.
Top Covering: After the adhesive has completely dried, carefully place the pre-coated top covering. Be mindful that the adhesive bonds quickly, so ensure proper alignment before applying pressure.
Adhesion: Press or roll thoroughly to achieve complete adhesion.
